Short answer: the Electro-Voice Everse 8. Both are rated 4.2/5 for sound quality (#3 and #4 of 17 battery-powered PA speakers), and the Electro-Voice Everse 8 costs $799 against $807.72 for the Teufel Rockster Neo, and with sound quality even, the cheaper one is the better buy.
The Teufel Rockster Neo is the deeper-bass, longer-running option. A big battery party and PA speaker with a 12 inch woofer, stereo sound, long battery life, and two mic or instrument inputs. Its bass reaches about 40Hz before falling 10dB, against 50Hz for the Electro-Voice Everse 8. It is rated for 36 hours of battery against 12 for the Electro-Voice Everse 8. It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the Electro-Voice Everse 8. Watch for: Not quite as good sounding as the JBL Partybox 330 or Electro-Voice Everse 12.
Why pick the Electro-Voice Everse 8: A battery powered 8 inch PA speaker that plays very loud, with a built in mixer and a removable 12 hour battery. It supports aptX Bluetooth, which the Teufel Rockster Neo lacks. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Teufel Rockster Neo lacks. The catch: Designed for more loudness than deeper bass.
Buy the Electro-Voice Everse 8. Both are rated the same for sound quality, and it costs $8.72 less than the Teufel Rockster Neo.
