The Beosound A1 2nd gen costs $395 and is more neutral than the first A1, but it is not stereo, has less deep bass than the A1 and shows pumping artifacts above 60% volume, so it suits lower levels only.
Buy the B&O Beosound A1 2nd gen if you want one new; the Soundcore Boost “upgraded” 2021 is discontinued, so only look for it used.
If battery life is a priority, the B&O Beosound A1 2nd gen is rated for 18 hours versus 12 hours for the Soundcore Boost “upgraded” 2021.

Older model: the Soundcore Boost “original model” pre-2021 (ranked lower, rated 4.2/5).
Pros: A very neutral good sounding inexpensive small speaker with quite deep bass for the size. This upgraded version has a usb-c port while the old one has micro usb. Measured bass extension of 56Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Slight DSP tuning issue which makes bass get lighter at times at very low volumes, examples in oluv’s video. Discontinued and no longer sold new.
