The Soundcore Boom Go 3i is the better-sounding, longer-running choice. A tough, floating mini speaker with full waterproofing, a long battery and a detachable strap, built for travel and the outdoors. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 6.5 for the Monster Bluetooth Speaker. It links with other speakers (Auracast), which the Monster Bluetooth Speaker cannot. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Monster Bluetooth Speaker lacks. The tradeoff: This is still a 15W mono speaker: bass impact and stereo width are limited, and critical listeners may find the upper treble piercing or metallic.
The Monster Bluetooth Speaker is the lighter option. A very cheap, light waterproof travel speaker with USB-C charging, aux and microSD playback, and stereo pairing.
