Short answer: the Soundcore 3, if you are buying new. The Huawei Sound Joy ranks higher than it (#39 vs #62 of 157 medium speakers, 3.8/5 vs 3.4/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Soundcore 3 is still sold new at $59.99.
The Soundcore 3 is the lighter choice. Identical in acoustic design and performance to the retailer variant Soundcore Select 2. At 0.8 lbs (372 g) it weighs much less than the Huawei Sound Joy at 1.5 lbs (680 g). It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the Huawei Sound Joy.
The Huawei Sound Joy is the better-sounding option. Use Devialet and +6db EQ for best sound quality. The catch: Boosted treble, not quite as deep of bass as a Charge 5.
Buy the Soundcore 3, since the Huawei Sound Joy is discontinued and only worth hunting down used.
