Its cons are comparatively minor: it’s very large, not as neutral or deep in bass as the top ranked party speakers, and it charges from an external power brick rather than USB-C, the same charging limitation the original Turtlebox has.
Buy the Soundboks 4 for genuinely class-leading loudness and a removable battery, if you can justify the price.
Buy the Turtlebox only if the much lower price is the deciding factor, understanding that its own cons describe weak bass and exaggerated specs.
