Short answer: these RCF NX 915-A and RCF ART 735-A MK4 alternatives share a brand and size class, but their coverage, driver architecture, cabinet format, processing, and output priorities can make them fit very different jobs. The RCF ART 735-A MK4 is discontinued; its replacement is the RCF ART 735-A MK5.
Why choose the RCF NX 915-A. The plywood enclosure, FiRPHASE/Bass Motion Control processing and flexible rigging make it a sturdier systems alternative to the ART 715-A MK5, with a wide 100° x 60° pattern and 131dB claimed peak.
Why choose the RCF ART 735-A MK4. Its large 3-inch compression-driver voice coil, 132dB claimed peak and roughly 53Hz measured extension give it useful vocal headroom and bass reach. The 47.2 lbs (21.4 kg) enclosure remains manageable for a 15-inch box.
What to weigh before buying. The truncated vendor measurement does not yield a preference score, preventing a confident tonal comparison with the scored leaders. At 53.1 lbs (24.1 kg) it is notably heavier than the ART-series alternatives. The low-quality vendor data is truncated and does not yield a preference score. It is discontinued and eclipsed by current 9-series and MK5 models.
Buy the RCF NX 915-A when its stated coverage, output, processing, and deployment format best match the job.
Buy the RCF ART 735-A MK4 when its stated strengths are the better match for the room and the rest of the PA.

Frequency Response Compared
Both speakers’ spinorama measurements, overlaid. A flatter line is more neutral: peaks sound forward or harsh, dips sound recessed. Each curve is shifted so its average from 300 Hz to 3 kHz sits at 0 dB, so loudness differences between the two are removed and only the shape is compared.
