RCF KX 32-A vs RCF ART 932-A

Short answer: the ART 932-A for most buyers, the KX 32-A if you need RCF’s flagship networked point source. These rank #6 and #7 out of 37 12-inch powered PA speakers, priced at $4198.50 and $1399.

The KX 32-A is RCF’s most ambitious current 12-inch point source. A 3200W amplifier, 3-inch titanium-dome compression driver, RDNet control and 134dB claimed peak output make it the most feature-loaded box in this comparison. Medium-quality data shows smooth core-band behavior and extension into the low 60Hz region, but the measurement is truncated and cannot produce a preference score. Its 23.6kg plywood enclosure is also heavier than mainstream molded alternatives.

The ART 932-A is lighter, cheaper and has a large compression driver of its own. A large 3-inch compression-driver voice coil, broad 100° x 60° coverage and 132dB claimed maximum output make it attractive for clear vocals and live mains, with FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control processing targeting phase consistency. The local low-quality vendor data doesn’t currently produce a preference score either, so this position has lower measurement confidence than the QSC, JBL and scored FBT models, but it’s markedly lighter at 18.8kg.
