The MoFi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition is the deeper-bass choice. Big floorstanding speakers with a 10 inch coaxial driver, precise imaging and bass deep enough to skip a subwoofer. Its bass reaches about 38Hz before falling 3dB, against 43Hz for the JBL 4367. The tradeoff: Moderate sensitivity (~89 dB) means amplifier power requirements higher than many alternatives.
What the JBL 4367 does well: A studio monitor style floorstander with a 15 inch woofer and horn, flat sound, huge dynamics and easy to drive. Watch for: At roughly $16500/pair, this is a major investment: the reviewer recommends buying from a dealer with a liberal return policy.
Buy the MoFi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition. It is rated higher for sound quality; the JBL 4367 is no longer sold new.
