Short answer: the Harman Kardon Luna 2, if you are buying new. The Minirig 3 ranks higher than it (#8 vs #25 of 164 medium speakers, 4.3/5 vs 4.1/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Harman Kardon Luna 2 is still sold new at $199.95.
The Minirig 3 is the longer-running, lighter choice. Modular, can easily attach a subwoofer. It is rated for 30 hours of battery against 12 for the Harman Kardon Luna 2. At 1.2 lbs (550 g) it weighs noticeably less than the Harman Kardon Luna 2 at 1.6 lbs (735 g). It supports aptX Bluetooth, which the Harman Kardon Luna 2 lacks. Watch for: Calls itself splash resistant and has no official water rating.
The Harman Kardon Luna 2 is the tougher choice. Articulate, spacious midrange with precise imaging and instrument separation. It is rated IP67 against Splash resistant for the Minirig 3. Watch for: Treble can sound bright and edgy, and it loses more output off-axis than some rivals.
Buy the Harman Kardon Luna 2, since the Minirig 3 is discontinued and only worth hunting down used.

Pros: Modular, can easily attach a subwoofer. Measured bass extension of 53Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Not stereo. Calls itself splash resistant and has no official water rating. App is buggy. Wireless TWS pairing is buggy. A bit expensive. Has reliability issues more often than any other speaker. Discontinued; Minirig now sells only the Minirig 4, and the old product page redirects to it.

Harman Kardon Luna 2: $199.95 Amazon B&H Photo Video eBay
Older model: the Harman Kardon Luna (ranked lower, rated 4/5).
Pros: Articulate, spacious midrange with precise imaging and instrument separation. Tight, well-controlled bass from the 62mm x 82mm woofer and passive radiator despite the compact body, and it stays cleaner at volume than pricier rivals like the Sonos Play. IP67 rated, and two units pair via AirTouch for true stereo sound.
Cons: Treble can sound bright and edgy, and it loses more output off-axis than some rivals. Some listeners hear mid-range rattling on certain tracks, similar to sibling JBL models. 12-hour battery life trails category leaders like the JBL Charge 6, which doubles it. Single unit is not stereo (1.1 driver layout).
