Short answer: the Partybox 720 for most people - it’s cheaper, has deeper bass, and gives you real EQ control; the Bromley 750 if all-around sound coverage matters more than raw bass. These rank #11 and #4 out of 11 large-party speakers, at $1299.99 and $899.95, with the Bromley 750 costing $400.04 more.
The Bromley 750’s standout feature is dispersion. Unlike the Partybox 720, which fires forward and thins out as you move to the side, the Bromley 750 projects sound in every direction fairly evenly - genuinely useful if the speaker sits in the middle of a space rather than against a wall.
The Partybox 720 wins on bass and tuning control. Our own notes on the Bromley 750 are direct: it isn’t as deep in the bass as the Partybox 720, and its overall frequency response isn’t great, with some midrange peaks. The Bromley 750 only offers basic bass and treble sliders, while the Partybox 720 has a full app EQ with presets and a custom mode - and the Bromley’s default “dynamic” bass setting runs heavy out of the box and needs trimming to sound its best.
Both are wheeled, mains-optional party speakers with XLR-level inputs, though the Bromley 750 more than doubles the Partybox 720’s battery life - 40-plus hours against 15.
Buy the Partybox 720 for deeper, better-controlled bass and real EQ, at a lower price. Buy the Bromley 750 if even coverage around the speaker and a much longer battery matter more to you than bass depth.
If sound quality matters at all to you, skip the Marshall Bromley 750. It ranks near the bottom of the 11 large party speakers, so look higher up the list instead.
If battery life is a priority, the Marshall Bromley 750 is rated for 40 hours versus 15 hours for the JBL Partybox 720.

Marshall Bromley 750: $1299.99 Amazon
Pros: Much wider, more consistent off-axis dispersion than the JBL Partybox 720, which only fires forward - the Marshall’s standout feature, sounding about the same from any angle.
Cons: Not as deep bass as the JBL Partybox 330 or JBL Partybox 720. Not a great frequency response overall, with some midrange peaks. Only basic bass/treble controls, no full custom EQ like the JBL Partybox 720’s app. Default bass (dynamic mode) is overdone out of the box and needs trimming.

Pros: Biggest best sounding speaker with a battery. Handle and wheels are convenient. Lightshow ability.
Cons: Very large and heavy. Note, JBL daisychain is not compatible with any other non-JBL speaker and is possibly a fully digital signal. Somewhat dark sounding by default, needs some treble boost to sound neutral
