The Megaboom 3 is IP67 rated, floats and survives drops from up to 1 meter, but it is not stereo and has barely any bass. The Muo gen2 is the better-balanced listen, with KEF having fixed the rolled off treble and overall balance, though deeper bass is still missing.
Buy the KEF Muo gen2. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $58 saving on the Ultimate Ears Megaboom 3 is not enough to make up the difference.
