Short answer: the JBL Partybox Encore 2. It ranks #4 of 98 boombox speakers by sound quality (rated 4.4/5) at $330 and is still sold new; the W-King H10 ranks #75 (rated 2.7/5) and is discontinued, so it is only an option used.
The JBL Partybox Encore 2 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass option. The Encore 2 improves the original with dome tweeters, a less boomy balance, slightly deeper bass, longer battery life and two included wireless microphones. Its bass reaches about 42Hz before falling 10dB, against 54Hz for the W-King H10. It links with other speakers (Auracast), which the W-King H10 cannot. The tradeoff: It still lacks some upper-bass punch and cannot match the scale of the larger PartyBoxes.
The W-King H10 is the louder, longer-running choice. Comes with wireless microphone. Alan Ross Reviews measured it at 115dB at full volume, against 110dB for the JBL Partybox Encore 2. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 15 for the JBL Partybox Encore 2. At 7.1 lbs (3.2 kg) it weighs much less than the JBL Partybox Encore 2 at 14.1 lbs (6.4 kg). The catch: Not very deep bass.
Buy the JBL Partybox Encore 2. It is rated higher for sound quality; the W-King H10 is no longer sold new.
