The JBL Grip is the lighter, tougher pick. A small, fully waterproof speaker with app EQ, ambient lighting, Auracast linking and USB-C audio input. At 0.8 lbs (385 g) it weighs noticeably less than the Minirig 4 at 1.2 lbs (550 g). It is rated IP68 against Splash resistant for the Minirig 4. Watch for: Lacking deeper bass, definitely the worst of the JBL line until you get to the smaller clip.
The Minirig 4 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass option. A small, long lasting speaker that gets loud and can add a matching subwoofer, with a 30 hour battery.
