Short answer: the JBL Flip 7 for better sound quality, the Tronsmart T7 for the lower price. The JBL Flip 7 ranks #14 of 136 medium speakers at $129.95. The Tronsmart T7 ranks #96 at $43, $86.95 cheaper.
What the JBL Flip 7 gets right: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Just slightly more treble than the Flip 6 which was already a great speaker. Set against that: A little bit of a bump at 4khz, not quite as neutral as the FLip 6. I believe this one is slightly worse than the Flip 6.
On the Tronsmart T7 side: IPX7 rated, customizable EQ app with 6 modes, pairs with second T7 for stereo, 30W output, up to 12 hours battery with LED ring off, USB-C charging, MicroSD card support. The catch: Peaky in the upper mids and in the mid treble. Worse bass extension than similar size speakers.
Buy the JBL Flip 7 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the Tronsmart T7 if the price matters more than sound quality.
