Short answer: the JBL Flip 7 for better sound quality, the Raymate S7 for the lower price. The JBL Flip 7 ranks #14 of 136 medium speakers at $129.95. The Raymate S7 ranks #121 at $36, $93.95 cheaper.
What the JBL Flip 7 gets right: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Just slightly more treble than the Flip 6 which was already a great speaker. Watch for: A little bit of a bump at 4khz, not quite as neutral as the FLip 6. I believe this one is slightly worse than the Flip 6.
The case for the Raymate S7: 30W output power, IPX7 waterproof, 15-hour battery life, Bluetooth 5.3, TWS stereo pairing, dual drivers, compact design, built-in microphone, USB-C charging, lightweight 1.2kg. The tradeoff: Very rolled off treble and sounds muffled.
Buy the JBL Flip 7 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the Raymate S7 if the price matters more than sound quality.
If sound quality matters at all to you, skip the Raymate S7. It ranks near the bottom of the 136 medium speakers, so look higher up the list instead.
