JBL Flip 7 vs Miatone Boompro

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Short answer: the JBL Flip 7 for the higher ranking, the Miatone Boompro for the lower price. The JBL Flip 7 ranks #14 of 134 medium speakers at $129.95. The Miatone Boompro ranks #15 at $35.99, $93.96 cheaper.

What the JBL Flip 7 gets right: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Set against that: A little bit of a bump at 4khz, not quite as neutral as the FLip 6. I believe this one is slightly worse than the Flip 6.

On the Miatone Boompro side: Exactly the same as the Wisetiger P3 below. Set against that: Slightly less bass extension than higher ranked speakers.

Buy the JBL Flip 7 if the ranking matters more than the price. Buy the Miatone Boompro if the price matters more than the ranking.
