Short answer: the JBL Flip 7 for better sound quality, the EFM Toledo for the lower price. The JBL Flip 7 ranks #14 of 136 medium speakers at $129.95. The EFM Toledo ranks #127 at $99, $30.95 cheaper.
What the JBL Flip 7 gets right: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Just slightly more treble than the Flip 6 which was already a great speaker. Watch for: A little bit of a bump at 4khz, not quite as neutral as the FLip 6. I believe this one is slightly worse than the Flip 6.
What the EFM Toledo offers: 10W output, IPX6 water resistant, 15-hour battery life, TWS stereo pairing, dual drivers, compact 500g design, built-in microphone, Bluetooth connectivity, Australian brand durability. Set against that: Rolled off treble, very weak bass.
Buy the JBL Flip 7 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the EFM Toledo if the price matters more than sound quality.
If sound quality matters at all to you, skip the EFM Toledo. It ranks near the bottom of the 136 medium speakers, so look higher up the list instead.
