What the JBL Flip 7 gets right: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Just slightly more treble than the Flip 6 which was already a great speaker. The tradeoff: A little bit of a bump at 4khz, not quite as neutral as the FLip 6. I believe this one is slightly worse than the Flip 6.
On the Doss Soundbox Pro side: 20W output, waterproof (IPX6), excellent battery life (20 hours), extra bass button and LED lights, MicroSD card support, dual woofer drivers. Watch for: Barely any bass.
Buy the JBL Flip 7 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the Doss Soundbox Pro if the price matters more than sound quality.
If sound quality matters at all to you, skip the Doss Soundbox Pro. It ranks near the bottom of the 136 medium speakers, so look higher up the list instead.
