The case for the JBL Flip 7: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Just slightly more treble than the Flip 6 which was already a great speaker. The tradeoff: A little bit of a bump at 4khz, not quite as neutral as the FLip 6. I believe this one is slightly worse than the Flip 6.
What the Beats Pill 2024 gets right: Doubles as a power bank (USB-C charge-out). 24 hour battery life; a 10 min quick-charge gives 2 hours. Watch for: Boosted upper bass, somewhat thuddy. Slightly recessed mids. Rolled off treble.
Buy the JBL Flip 7 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the Beats Pill 2024 if the price matters more than sound quality.
