Short answer: the JBL Flip 7, fairly comfortably. The Flip 7 is a very neutral, almost pocket-size speaker with slightly more treble than the Flip 6. The Lifejacket 3 has tank-like build quality, but it has barely any bass, gets distorted with a lot of bass, and Jay’s Reviews called it “pathetic sounding”.
Buy the JBL Flip 7. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $17.19 saving on the Altec Lansing Lifejacket 3 is not enough to make up the difference.
If battery life is a priority, the Altec Lansing Lifejacket 3 is rated for 30 hours versus 14 hours for the JBL Flip 7.
