JBL Flip 7 vs 1More S1001bt

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Short answer: the JBL Flip 7 for better sound quality, the 1More S1001bt for the lower price. The JBL Flip 7 ranks #14 of 136 medium speakers at $129.95. The 1More S1001bt ranks #28 at $74, $55.95 cheaper.

What the JBL Flip 7 offers: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Just slightly more treble than the Flip 6 which was already a great speaker. The tradeoff: A little bit of a bump at 4khz, not quite as neutral as the FLip 6. I believe this one is slightly worse than the Flip 6.

The case for the 1More S1001bt: IPX4 water resistant, 12-hour battery life, EQ and extra bass button, power bank function, 30W output power, dual driver setup with DSP virtual bass. Watch for: Not stereo. Somewhat bass boosted, and more of a warm sound. Quite bassy off axis.

Buy the JBL Flip 7 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the 1More S1001bt if the price matters more than sound quality.

If water resistance matters to you, the JBL Flip 7 at IP68 (extended submersion) holds up far better than the 1More S1001bt at IPX4 (splashing).
