Short answer: the GR-Research X-LS Encore, especially if you can find an AV123-built example. It is called an amazing value, and its on-axis response shows only a slight depression in the upper bass plus some peaking in the lower bass. The ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 stays reasonably flat with even horizontal directivity, but a good size resonant peak around 700Hz and a directivity error around 3.3kHz are the penalties.
Buy the ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2. Both are rated the same for sound quality, and it costs $821 less than the GR-Research X-LS Encore.
