Short answer: the Tronsmart Fiitune X30, if you are buying new. The Earfun Uboom X ranks higher than it (#1 vs #45 of 85 boombox speakers, 4.7/5 vs 3.3/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Tronsmart Fiitune X30 is still sold new at $144.90.
The UBoom X is far better. In a side by side sound test listeners found it more neutral and natural, while the X30 sounded muddy in the bass with dull, underemphasized treble.
The UBoom X is extremely neutral, reaches deeper than the Tribit Stormbox Blast and measured about 110dB, but it is discontinued. The X30 is still sold, with LDAC, IPX6 and a claimed 14 hours.
Evidence: The X30’s rating comes from listening comparisons, not measurements.
Buy the Tronsmart Fiitune X30, since the Earfun Uboom X is discontinued and only worth hunting down used.

The Two Speakers In Full
Earfun Uboom X: $159.99 Discontinued eBay
Pros: Tuned by Oluv and he knocked it out of the park again. Deeper bass than the Stormbox Blast. Extremely neutral, possibly the best of any modern Bluetooth speaker slightly behind the Vifa Helsinki. This is the only speaker that sounds correct at every single volume level due to Oluv’s individual EQ settings at each volume level. Other speakers will need a different EQ at each volume level. Amazing sounding at low levels as it boosts bass and treble at low levels to account for the equal-loudness contour. Just considering the midrange and treble, this speaker is better sounding than the Earfun Uboom L. Measured bass extension of ~38Hz (-10dB).
Cons: The out of the box 0.33 firmware and EQ sounds horrible. Some users have reported sound interruption issues when running two in TWS, though not on every source device, and disabling AAC resolves it where it occurs. Discontinued.
Setup: Please update it using the Earfun app (Android or iOS) and select an Oluv EQ. The Earfun app has sound profiles created by Oluv for Studio, Indoor, Indoor+, Outdoor, Outdoor+, BOOM xxX, and Ground 0 which are all fantastic. Oluv has a newer firmware pack that brings it up a few more notches of neutral

Tronsmart Fiitune X30: $144.90 AliExpress Tronsmart Best Buy eBay
Pros: A three-way, six-driver design (racetrack woofer, two midranges, two tweeters and an upward-firing driver) with 80W, Hi-Res certification, LDAC, a claimed 14 hours of battery and IPX6. It plays loud with a lot of mid-bass, reviewers found good separation of instruments and voices, and some listeners found it warm and full at high volume.
Cons: Side by side it clearly lost to the Harman Kardon Go + Play 3, the Soundcore Boom 2 and the EarFun UBoom X: listeners described muddy, dark mid-bass that fails to reproduce low notes, dull and underemphasized treble, and a boxy, sterile sound at low volume next to the JBL Xtreme 4. The evidence is listening comparisons, not measurements.
