Short answer: the Teufel Boomster 4, if you are buying new. The Earfun Uboom X ranks higher than it (#1 vs #42 of 85 boombox speakers, 4.7/5 vs 3.4/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Teufel Boomster 4 is still sold new.
The UBoom X is the stronger boombox. It is extremely neutral, reaches deeper than the Tribit Stormbox Blast and measured about 110dB. In a side by side sound test, listeners split: some heard the Boomster 4 as more detailed and cleaner at full volume, others found it boomier with less balance.
Features: the Boomster 4 has DAB+ and FM radio, a treble control with a remote, aptX HD and a claimed 23 hours. The UBoom X is discontinued.
Buy the Teufel Boomster 4 if you want one new; the Earfun Uboom X is discontinued, so only look for it used.

The Two Speakers In Full
Earfun Uboom X: $159.99 Discontinued eBay
Pros: Tuned by Oluv and he knocked it out of the park again. Deeper bass than the Stormbox Blast. Extremely neutral, possibly the best of any modern Bluetooth speaker slightly behind the Vifa Helsinki. This is the only speaker that sounds correct at every single volume level due to Oluv’s individual EQ settings at each volume level. Other speakers will need a different EQ at each volume level. Amazing sounding at low levels as it boosts bass and treble at low levels to account for the equal-loudness contour. Just considering the midrange and treble, this speaker is better sounding than the Earfun Uboom L. Measured bass extension of ~38Hz (-10dB).
Cons: The out of the box 0.33 firmware and EQ sounds horrible. Some users have reported sound interruption issues when running two in TWS, though not on every source device, and disabling AAC resolves it where it occurs. Discontinued.
Setup: Please update it using the Earfun app (Android or iOS) and select an Oluv EQ. The Earfun app has sound profiles created by Oluv for Studio, Indoor, Indoor+, Outdoor, Outdoor+, BOOM xxX, and Ground 0 which are all fantastic. Oluv has a newer firmware pack that brings it up a few more notches of neutral

Teufel Boomster 4: €249.99 Teufel eBay
Older models: the Teufel Boomster 2021 (ranked lower, rated 3.4/5) and the Teufel Boomster NG (2017) (ranked lower, rated 3.2/5).
Pros: Warmer and more open than the Boomster 2021 it replaces, with nicer, less harsh highs, a wide stereo image from its three-way layout (two 20mm tweeters, two 65mm midrange drivers and a 110mm woofer with passive radiators) and good detail. Its new treble control and remote let you tame the top end. DAB+ and FM radio, a claimed 23 hours of battery at medium volume, IPX5, Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC and aptX HD, multipoint, an aux input, USB-C charging and stereo pairing.
Cons: Side by side with the Boomster 2021 the sound barely changed, and it has a little less deep bass. Against the Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 it sounds sharper and thinner, with weaker bass and a less natural stereo image, and its bass drops off at full volume. At 3.75 kg it is heavy for its size, it has no power bank output, and IPX5 is a step down from the older model’s IPX7.
