Short answer: the Sony SRS-XG300 for party features, the DALI Katch G2 only if neutrality wins. The XG300 is IP67 rated with Bluetooth 5.2 multipoint and LDAC, a retractable handle and fast charging that gives 70 minutes from 10 minutes, but it sounds hollow with rolled-off treble, an upper-mids peak and bass that is not as deep as competitors. The Dali is pretty neutral but loses bass after 40% volume and is called horribly overpriced.
Buy the Sony ULT Field 5, the replacement for the discontinued Sony SRS-XG300; it is rated higher for sound quality than the DALI Katch G2.
