The Minirig 2 with subwoofer is the better-sounding, longer-running pick. A two-piece portable system of speaker plus subwoofer with very balanced sound and a long 40 hour rated battery. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 30 for the DALI Katch G2. It has an adjustable EQ, which the DALI Katch G2 lacks. The tradeoff: Not stereo, app is buggy.
Buy the Minirig 4 with subwoofer, the replacement for the discontinued Minirig 2 with subwoofer; it is rated higher for sound quality than the DALI Katch G2.
If water resistance matters to you, the DALI Katch G2 at IPX7 (brief submersion) holds up far better than the Minirig 2 with subwoofer at Splash resistant (splashing).
