Short answer: the B&W Zeppelin for neutrality and soundstage, the Earfun Uboom X if you will change its firmware and EQ. The Zeppelin is amazingly neutral with a wide soundstage thanks to its width, and its drawbacks are only the lack of a battery and waterproofing. The Uboom X is tuned by Oluv and called a knockout, but the out of the box 0.33 firmware and EQ sound horrible.

On the Earfun Uboom X side: Tuned by Oluv and he knocked it out of the park again. The tradeoff: The out of the box 0.33 firmware and EQ sounds horrible.
One note: the B&W Zeppelin is no longer sold new, but at #2 of 6 powered desktop speakers by sound quality it still outranks most current models, so used is worth considering.
Buy the B&W Zeppelin ($899) for a powered desktop speaker; the Earfun Uboom X ($159.99) suits a boombox speaker instead.
If water resistance matters to you, the Earfun Uboom X at IP67 (brief submersion) holds up far better than the B&W Zeppelin at no water resistance.

Pros: Amazingly neutral, quite a wide soundstage due to the width. Bass extension deeper than all others in category. Measured bass extension of ~32Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Nothing besides the lack of battery, lack of waterproofing, high cost and the Earfun Uboom X that’s so close to it in terms of sound quality for 7x less money. Basically an indoor only speaker. At this price point the Top Recommended Bookshelf Speakers are the better buy, with even better soundstage. Discontinued.

Earfun Uboom X: $159.99 Discontinued Myearfun eBay
Pros: Tuned by Oluv and he knocked it out of the park again. Deeper bass than the Stormbox Blast. Extremely neutral, possibly the best of any modern Bluetooth speaker slightly behind the Vifa Helsinki. This is the only speaker that sounds correct at every single volume level due to Oluv’s individual EQ settings at each volume level. Other speakers will need a different EQ at each volume level. Amazing sounding at low levels as it boosts bass and treble at low levels to account for the equal-loudness contour. Just considering the midrange and treble, this speaker is better sounding than the Earfun Uboom L. Measured bass extension of ~38Hz (-10dB).
Cons: The out of the box 0.33 firmware and EQ sounds horrible. Some users have reported sound interruption issues when running two in TWS, though not on every source device, and disabling AAC resolves it where it occurs. Discontinued.
Setup: Please update it using the Earfun app (Android or iOS) and select an Oluv EQ. The Earfun app has sound profiles created by Oluv for Studio, Indoor, Indoor+, Outdoor, Outdoor+, BOOM xxX, and Ground 0 which are all fantastic. Oluv has a newer firmware pack that brings it up a few more notches of neutral
