Short answer: the Mifa Wildbox. It ranks #9 of 77 large speakers by sound quality at $100; the Bose SoundLink Plus ranks #22 and costs $269, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.
The case for the Bose SoundLink Plus: it’s IP67 rated, gets close to 20 hours of battery life, sounds vibrant with booming bass and clean mids, has Bluetooth 5.4 with good range, and feels premium with its tactile grille and smooth silicone build. The catch: the bass is boosted and thuddy and not as deep as the SoundLink Flex, so you’re probably better off just buying one of those instead if you want a Bose.
What the Mifa Wildbox gets right: a really neutral frequency response across the midrange and 6 lighting modes, though it needs a firmware upgrade to 2.11 via a Windows PC to sound its best since it ships with an older version. Set against that: it doesn’t seem to be available anymore, has no app, the slightly boosted upper treble can be fatiguing, the buttons are confusing, the plastic case feels cheap, and it may break internally if dropped.
Buy the Mifa Wildbox. It ranks higher for sound quality than the Bose SoundLink Plus and costs less, so there is no real case for the other one.

Pros: IP67 rated, IP67 water/dustproof. Close to 20 hour battery life. Vibrant sound with booming bass, clean mids. Bluetooth 5.4 with good range. Premium tactile grille, smooth silicone. Quality build at $269.
Cons: Boosted thuddy bass, but not as deep as the SoundLink Flex and you should probably just buy one of those instead if you want a Bose.

Mifa Wildbox: $100 Amazon
Pros: A really neutral frequency response across the midrange. 6 different lighting modes, or turn off the lights with a long button press. You will need to upgrade it to the latest 2.11 firmware with a Windows PC, as it likely ships with 1.93. Sound quality and bass extension on previous firmwares wasn’t very good. To upgrade firmware, install the PC flashing tool and download firmware. With the speaker off, hold V+ Play V- at the same time to enter flashing mode. To check firmware, turn on the speaker, quickly press the M button 3 times, then quickly press the Play button 3 times (it can take a few tries).
Cons: Doesn’t seem to be available anymore. No app. The slightly boosted upper treble can be slightly fatiguing on-axis with certain songs. Some of the buttons can be confusing, “M” is the Bluetooth button and skip song is long press play, while repeat is double press play. The plastic case isn’t textured or rubberized like other speakers and some may find it feels cheap. If dropped it may break internally and sound strange. I’d recommend only buying it from a place with free returns just in case it was damaged in shipping.
