Short answer: the Tribit Stormbox Pro, as long as you update the firmware. It runs 24 hours at 60% volume with XBass off and doubles as a power bank, neither of which the Bose Soundlink Mini matches. The catch is that its bottom woofer was fixed in a later firmware, so upgrade for the best sound; the Bose’s edge is a sturdy compact aluminum body.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Pro only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, start with the Earfun Uboom L instead.
If water resistance matters to you, the Tribit Stormbox Pro at IPX7 (brief submersion) holds up far better than the Bose Soundlink Mini at no water resistance.
