Short answer: the Ultimate Ears Boom 4, if you are buying new. The Bogasing M4 ranks higher than it (#28 vs #110 of 164 medium speakers, 4.0/5 vs 2.9/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Ultimate Ears Boom 4 is still sold new at $149.99.
The Bogasing M4 is the better-sounding, longer-running option. Super Bass mode gives the most balanced sound. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 15 for the Ultimate Ears Boom 4. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Ultimate Ears Boom 4 lacks. Watch for: It sounds a bit harsh and thin.
What the Ultimate Ears Boom 4 does well: IP67 rated, floats, and finally charges via USB-C instead of the older Booms’ Micro-USB. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Bogasing M4 lacks. The tradeoff: Not much improvement over the old ones.
