The Motion 300 is the much more flexible and capable speaker, while the discontinued Bogasing M4 only makes sense as a very inexpensive simple option. Soundcore adds app EQ, LDAC, orientation-specific tuning, more output and slightly deeper bass. Its stock treble is far too rolled off, so the advantage depends on applying an EQ. Bogasing’s 24-hour claimed battery and aux input are useful, but it has no app or tone controls.
The case for the Bogasing M4: Use super bass mode for the most balanced sound. Set against that: A bit harsh and thin sounding.
What the Soundcore Motion 300 gets right: Pretty deep bass for the small size. Set against that: Without the above EQ or turning the top 2 treble EQ bars to max.
Buy the Bogasing M4 only if you find remaining stock cheaply and value long battery life plus an aux input over sound tuning controls.
Buy the Soundcore Motion 300 if you will use the app EQ and want deeper bass, greater output and a more versatile portable speaker.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the Bogasing M4 is rated for 24 hours, the Soundcore Motion 300 only 13 hours.

Soundcore Motion 300: $79.99 Amazon eBay
Pros: Pretty deep bass for the small size. Pocket size in a big pocket. Can be used in stereo facing you, or omnidirectional lying down. Ability to have a custom EQ for each orientation, standing, lying flat, hanging. Try the Uboom L EQs from Oluv for a more neutral sound.
Cons: Without the above EQ or turning the top 2 treble EQ bars to max, this speaker is very rolled off in the treble and will rank around #50 in the rankings. Bassup mode is worse than Signature. Not quite as detailed or neutral as higher ranked speakers. Slight bass distortion when turned up.
