Our notes say Oluv tuned it and knocked it out of the park again, though the out-of-the-box 0.33 firmware and EQ sound horrible. The B&O Beolit 20’s one clear draw is wireless phone charging, and its knock is a warm sound.
Buy the B&O Beolit 20 if you want one new; the EarFun Uboom X is discontinued, so only look for it used.
Water resistance is not close: the EarFun Uboom X is rated at IP67 (brief submersion), well ahead of the B&O Beolit 20 at IPX4 (splashing).
