#49 ION Tailgater XL: $199.00 Walmart $199.00 eBay
Pros: A wheeled IPX5 party speaker with a telescoping handle, an 8 inch driver, two tweeters and two side firing 3 inch drivers for wide coverage. It has 1/4 inch microphone and guitar inputs with a wired microphone included, aux input, FM radio, four FX pads with 40 sound effects and sample recording, app EQ presets, a phone charging port and stereo linking.
Cons: Its bass is nowhere near as deep as top ranked party speakers like the Sony ULT Tower 7 and JBL Partybox 330. No independent reviews or measurements yet, so its rating is estimated from ION’s similar speakers. It uses a heavy sealed lead acid battery that takes up to 12 hours to charge, ION does not state battery life or power, there is no USB playback, and it weighs 11.3 kg.
