Pros: The smaller standmount in Revel’s 2026 Performa4 series. A 1” ceramic composite dome tweeter sits in Revel’s seventh generation Acoustic Lens waveguide, which controls dispersion so the off-axis sound stays close to the on-axis balance, above a 5.25” ceramic composite woofer crossed over at 1.8kHz. The measured Performa3 M105 it replaces scored a 5.76 Spinorama preference score, one of the best results for a speaker this size.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared directly with measured speakers; the rating is estimated from the measured Performa3 M105. Sensitivity is a low 85dB and the bass is rated only to 54Hz (-6dB), so it needs a reasonably powerful amplifier and a subwoofer for full-range music or movies.
