Pros: The center channel of Revel’s Performa4 series, launched in 2026 to replace Performa3. A 1” Deep Ceramic Composite dome tweeter sits in Revel’s seventh generation Acoustic Lens waveguide between two 5.25” ceramic composite woofers, in a ported cabinet 181mm tall.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared directly with measured centers; the rating is estimated from its predecessor’s measurements. Sensitivity is a modest 86dB, and two 5.25” woofers in a ported box will need a subwoofer for full-range movie bass.
How it compares: Just above it: KEF R2c - $200 cheaper, 1Hz higher bass extension (-3dB). Just below it: KEF Q6 Meta - $650 cheaper.
