#29 Perlisten R7t: $4,995 each Audio Advice eBay
Pros: The flagship of Perlisten’s R-series towers, a 4-way design with four 165mm woofers reaching a measured -3dB extension point of 49.1Hz. The Harman in-room extension estimate (lfx) is a deeper 38Hz, since that metric accounts for room gain the anechoic -3dB figure doesn’t. Sensitivity of 90.0dB makes it easy to drive at high output.
Cons: Listening-window smoothness (0.567) and sound-power smoothness (0.380) are middling for a flagship-tier tower, with on-axis deviation of 0.341dB, a fairly pronounced -0.29dB per octave downward tilt, and a predicted in-room smoothness of just 0.44. It’s sold only through specialty AV dealers at a per-unit price.
How it compares: Just above it: JBL HDI-3600 - $1195 cheaper, 0.5Hz lower bass extension (-3dB). Just below it: Emotiva Airmotiv T2+ - $3996 cheaper, 0.5Hz lower bass extension (-3dB).
