Pros: A compact two-way center with a 5.25” Uni-Q coaxial driver and two 5.25” passive radiators, so it has no rear port and can sit close to a wall. Erin’s Audio Corner measured even coverage of about ±45 degrees both horizontally and vertically, and a preference score that reaches 6.94 with an ideal subwoofer. Measured bass extension of 90.8Hz (-3dB).
Cons: On-axis response is uneven (0.97dB average deviation) and bass rolls off at 90.8Hz (-3dB) and about 55Hz (-10dB), so its score without a subwoofer is 4.19. KEF replaced it with the Q6 Meta. Discontinued.
