Pros: Compact front-ported bookshelf pair with a silk-dome tweeter, 5.25-inch aramid woofer and wall-mount inserts. Erin’s data shows a nearly flat +0.02dB/octave tonal slope, 47Hz extension and a 5.19 preference score with a subwoofer.
Cons: Measured sensitivity is very low at about 81.6dB and the 4-ohm load benefits from a capable amplifier. On-axis smoothness (0.221) is only fair, predicted in-room smoothness is poor at 0.160, and the raw no-subwoofer preference score is 2.96.
