Pros: A passive installation speaker from JBL’s CV3000 range alongside the measured JBL CV3015: two 15” woofers and a narrower 60° x 60° horn for longer throws. JBL rates it at 101dB sensitivity and 136dB peak with 60° x 60° coverage, so modest amplifier power fills a restaurant, ballroom or event space.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so it can’t be compared with ranked PA speakers. It is sold through installation dealers rather than general retailers, and it needs an external amplifier with JBL’s recommended EQ for its rated response.
