Pros: A passive installation speaker from JBL’s CV3000 range alongside the measured JBL CV3015: the smallest model, with a 10” woofer. JBL rates it at 95dB sensitivity and 126dB peak / 120dB continuous with 90° x 90° coverage, so modest amplifier power fills a restaurant, ballroom or event space.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so it can’t be compared with ranked PA speakers. It is sold through installation dealers rather than general retailers, and it needs an external amplifier with JBL’s recommended EQ for its rated response.
