Pros: The widest CCX15 pattern still holds very consistent directivity (2.15dB variation in the directivity index, the most uniform of the Fulcrum models measured) and an even on-axis response (0.34dB average deviation). Vendor measurements give 2.85 on its own and 6.16 with an ideal subwoofer. Measured bass extension of 85Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Bass reaches only 85Hz at -3dB and about 65Hz at -10dB, so it needs subwoofers. The wide pattern sends more energy to the side walls, and its scores trail the narrower Fulcrum Acoustic CCX1565. Passive, needs TQ processing, and sold through pro dealers with no published price.
