Pros: A compact 7.7kg coaxial with very consistent directivity (2.56dB variation in the directivity index) and preference scores of 2.90 on its own and 6.52 with an ideal subwoofer in vendor measurements. The 16 ohm load lets several share one amplifier channel, and the subcardioid design cuts spill behind it. Measured bass extension of 109Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Bass stops at 109Hz (-3dB) and about 86Hz (-10dB), so it is a fill or distributed speaker that needs subwoofers. The on-axis response is less even than the non-cardioid Fulcrum Acoustic CX826 (1.0dB against 0.8dB average deviation). Sold through pro dealers with no published price.
