#24 WLMOUSE Huan: €249 MaxGaming eBay

Pros: A hybrid with one 8 mm dynamic driver and eight balanced armatures whose deviation from target is an exceptionally low 1.08 dB, with every band from 20 Hz to 12 kHz within about 1.5 dB. A preference score of 85 puts it alongside the best wired earphones, and it comes with a detachable boom mic for gaming and calls.

Cons: A 4 dB peak near 8.2 kHz adds a touch of sparkle that can sharpen sibilants. It is sold mainly through European and gaming retailers, and the score rests on a single measurement.

Frequency Response

How the WLMOUSE Huan measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is a single measurement, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
