Truthear Hola - ranked #367 of 1476 In-Ear Headphones · Editor's rating 4.2/5

#367 Truthear Hola: $19.99 Discontinued eBay

Pros: A budget 11 mm dynamic IEM at about $20 with a preference score of 76. Bass and midrange stay within about 1 dB of target, and the 2 pin cable is detachable.

Cons: Treble above 5 kHz runs about 4 dB low with a 7 dB dip near 9.4 kHz, so it sounds dark and lacks sparkle. It is discontinued and replaced by the Truthear Gate, and the score rests on a single measurement.

Frequency Response

How the Truthear Hola measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is a single measurement, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
