Pros: The beryllium plated dynamic driver gives full bass about 2.7 dB above target, and the upper mids sit right on target across 24 measurements, so vocals sound clear and natural. Its 32 ohm, 108 dB/mW load is easy to drive and the wood faceplate design is attractive for the price.
Cons: Sub-bass rolls off about 2.5 dB at 30 Hz, a 5.9 dB dip near 6.3 kHz takes some detail out, and a 5 dB peak near 11 kHz can add a little sharpness. A 2.44 dB spread is less even than the best single dynamic sets.
