#108 Moondrop GM-01 Pro: $79.99 Wireless Amazon $79.99 eBay

Pros: A gaming headset at about $80 with a preference score of 84, 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 6.0, and up to 150 hours of battery. Bass extends fully to 20 Hz with a modest lift, and the midrange stays within about 1 dB of target.

Cons: Upper treble is well short of target, with dips of 9.3 dB near 8.9 kHz and 10.5 dB near 10.9 kHz, so it sounds darker and less airy, and a 4.5 dB rise near 2.9 kHz can make voices forward. There is no ANC, and the score rests on a single measurement.

Frequency Response

How the Moondrop GM-01 Pro measures across the audible range, against the Harman over-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is a single measurement, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
