Pros: Its 14.5mm planar magnetic driver reaches a Harman preference score of 65.8 across six hobbyist measurements on squig.link, with sub-bass held within about half a dB of target so deep bass is present but not exaggerated. A bass lift of about 4.1 dB in the 60 to 200 Hz range gives instruments warmth and body. At 36 ohms and 105 dB/mW it plays loudly from a phone or dongle, and each earpiece weighs just 6.5 g.

Cons: The treble is uneven, with a 6.7 dB peak near 7.9 kHz followed by a 5.7 dB dip near 10.2 kHz, so cymbals can sound sharp and then lose sparkle. About 2.5 dB of extra low mids and a 1.8 dB presence dip make vocals slightly thick and recessed. It rates the same as the less expensive iBasso IT01S.
