#46 FatFreq Grand Maestro: $2871 Bloom Audio $2871 eBay
Pros: A flagship tribrid with one dynamic driver, eight balanced armatures and four electrostatic drivers per side, with a preference score of 83 and a low 1.42 dB deviation from target. Sub bass through the 1 to 2 kHz range stays within about 1 dB of target, so the tonal balance is natural and full.
Cons: Presence and treble from 2 to 8 kHz sit about 2 dB low with a 5.3 dB dip near 5.6 kHz, so detail is slightly softened. At $2871 it costs far more than the ThieAudio Monarch MKIII, which scores higher, and the score rests on a single measurement.

Frequency Response
How the FatFreq Grand Maestro measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is a single measurement, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
Measurement data: a single measurement from the squig.link database of hbb. Thanks to them for publishing their work.
