#911 CCA CRA Plus: $24.69 Amazon $24.69 eBay
Pros: A single dynamic driver earphone at about $25 whose response sits close to target at 2.35 dB deviation, with sub bass reaching fully to 20 Hz and bass about 2.5 dB above target for a slightly fuller sound. 111 dB sensitivity makes it loud from any phone, and it comes with or without an inline microphone.
Cons: Upper bass is about 4 dB above target, which thickens male vocals, and a dip near 5.9 kHz followed by a 4 dB peak near 8.2 kHz makes the treble a little uneven. The score rests on three measurements, and the EPZ G10 scores much higher at a similar price.

Frequency Response
How the CCA CRA Plus measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the median of 3 independent measurements, so one odd sample or rig cannot skew it, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
Measurement data: median of 3 measurements from the squig.link databases of achoreviews, practiphile and superreview. Thanks to each of them for publishing their work.
