#560 Arisyn Huo Shu: $49.99 Amazon $49.99 eBay

Pros: A budget single dynamic IEM with a 10mm LCP driver and a wood faceplate. It measures reasonably close to the Harman target (score 70 across eight measurements).

Cons: Treble sits about 2.8 dB below target, a dark, relaxed balance. Bass sits about 2.2 dB below target, so it sounds lean. Sub-bass falls about 4.4 dB short at 30 Hz. A 2.54 dB spread from the target shows peaks and dips that better tuned sets avoid.

Is the Arisyn Huo Shu right for you?

Frequency Response

How the Arisyn Huo Shu measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the median of 8 independent measurements, so one odd sample or rig cannot skew it, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
